The MG Hector still runs on a 1.5-liter petrol engine that gives it good power at 141bhp and 250Nm. You can choose between a six-speed manual or a CVT for smoother driving. There's also a diesel option with a bigger 2.0-liter engine, giving it more power at 168bhp and 350Nm, but it's only available with a six-speed manual gearbox. These engines meet the BS6 Phase 2 emissions standards.
