According to a post on reddit Studio X has been developing Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore "for a number of years". There were first developer videos on the project in the year 2019. Since April 2021 there has been discord and the first tests of external players.

RuneScape is one of the earliest games in the MMORPG genre. It is regarded as one of the longest-running games available on the market since its debut in January 2001. The once browser-based RPG has had many different versions because of its large number of players.

From Old School RuneScape providing players with an experience that is reminiscent of 2006 and the short-lived DarkScape giving players more PvP-based experience. Now, developer Jagex has partnered with board game maker Steamforged Games to release not only two tabletop games during the year of 2022.

Steamforged Games' partnership with Jagex is the latest in a long string cooperations that brings the biggest gaming franchises into a tabletop setting. The tabletop gaming juggernaut made board games that are based upon series like Monster Hunter World and Dark Souls and recently finished an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign for the Resident Evil 2 board game in which they raised over one million GBP during the course of the year.

The developer is aiming at Gielinor's world and RuneScape with plans to release the board game and a book on the core of tabletop RPG this year. The two RPG versions will include many of RuneScape's most famous characters and places cheap rs accounts, allowing groups of up to five players to take on classic quests in RuneScape in addition to bringing the adventure in The world of Gielinor to the home of Gielinor.
