KLM Airlines Seat Selection Policy

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines offers passengers the flexibility to choose their preferred seats either at the time of booking or after their reservation has been made. The KLM airline seat selection is designed to meet the diverse preferences and needs of travelers, whether you're looking for extra legroom, a window seat, or a seat in a quieter part of the cabin.

Types of Seats Available for Selection:

  Standard Seats: These seats are available for selection free of charge for most fare types. However, passengers with a Light or Basic fare ticket may need to pay a fee for seat selection.

  Preferred Seats: Located in more desirable locations within the cabin, such as near the exits for extra legroom or at the front for quicker disembarkation. These seats are available for a fee.

KLM Seat Upgrade

Passengers looking for an enhanced travel experience can opt for a KLM Airlines seat upgrade. KLM offers the opportunity to upgrade to Business Class either at the time of booking, through 'My Trip' on the KLM website, or at check-in (subject to availability). Upgrades can also be obtained through bidding in an auction system offered by KLM, where passengers can make an offer for a business class seat.
