Canvas Cement Baskets are designed with flexible Bow Springs heat treated under controlled form for maximum strength. The baskets are normally on the casing, tubing, and liner strings above the weak formation to protect weak formations from hydrostatic pressure exerted by the weight of cement columns. It has a better ability to adapt to the borehole and can accommodate larger than the nominal hole sizes. These are recommended for use in all kinds of standard casing grades.
