Makore is an Africa-based wood species that is primarily used for furniture making, interior fittings, vehicle framing, etc. Makore trees grow in Western and Middle Africa and are about 180-220 ft in height, with 4-6 ft trunk diameter. The wood is pink or reddish-brown in color.
