The mobilization was completed at KEPEK, where members of the administration of the workers' association of the municipality of Thessaloniki read their resolution, which was approved by the majority of participants and submitted to the labor inspectorate. In a meeting held a while ago by the committee of the workers' association with the mayor of Thessaloniki, Konstantinos Zervas in his office, the latter committed to raising the issue of worker safety measures at the next municipal council, which is scheduled for the beginning of July. In the context of the general meeting of workers in Cleaning and technical services, the members of the association collected signatures, in order to later submit a resolution to the Labor Inspectorate, through which they ask for protective measures to be taken -to prevent new accidents at work-, to make recruitments personnel, to maintain the municipality's vehicles and not to proceed with any privatization.
