In case of candidates from Karnataka SC, ST and other backward classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum eligibility marks required are 40% in the optional subjects in the qualifying exam M Tech: For CSE: Candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Science OR AMIE in appropriate branch. For GATE, CS is necessary. MBA: Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s degree with not less than 50% in the aggregate of all the years of the degree exam.
