I agree with this and believe that the best defensive player is one who excels across the court not strictly in the paint or in the perimeter.

NBA 2K23 is an online game that is able to replicate the real-world impact of NBA players. As a long-time player at the table, I chose to focus on the most important defensive traits from the game in order to determine which player is the best defensive of the three contestants.

The simulation is constructed using it's NBA Playoffs mode and entering every team in their proper position in order to accurately portray the real-life structure. NBA 2K23 then runs the games through an automated system. It plays out every playoff round with the goal of determining the winner each game before moving to the next round.

The first round offered a few unexpected surprises as the teams with power took on their foes with ease.
