In this project, Appen collects speech data in Hebrew to train and develop artificial intelligence algorithms that will be used to improve speech recognition technologies.

We are looking for people in Israel to read and record short instructions using our Appen Mobile app.

Project Description:
The task contains a total of 1000 short sentences that you must read on a screen and record using the Appen Mobile application. You just have to follow the sentences written in Hebrew, there is no need to create your own sentences.

Example of a sentence you will have to read: “Okay Alexa, I need directions to work”

Duration of Task:
Each sentence will take an average of 3-6 seconds to complete. In total, for the 1000 recordings, please plan 5 hours. Of course, we recommend breaks and give you at least 7 days to record the session.

Key requirements:

• You have a current smartphone


• - iOS device must be iPhone 8 or newer
  - Android devices must be 2017 or later


• Must be a fluent Hebrew speaker living in Israel


• Ability to record in a very quiet indoor environment, without any background noise
