What’s data annotation?
In machine learning, data annotation is the process of labeling data to show the outcome you want your machine learning model to predict. You are marking – labeling, tagging, transcribing, or processing – a dataset with the features you want your machine learning system to learn to recognize.

A key tool for close reading that helps you uncover patterns, notice important words, and identify main points. An active learning strategy that improves comprehension and retention of information.

Appen is looking for data annotators to help us review some sentences and modify them where necessary. For this project, you will be working in your native language.

Project Task and Required Conditions:

• Your task is to provide questions that come into your mind after reading a tool-generated passage, even if it’s vaguely related to the topic.


• This project will take less than 20 hours in total at 4-5 hours per day


• Work from home with a flexible schedule at your preferred time


• Must have at least an advanced level of English in order to understand the project-related materials, such as guidelines, and, during the first stage, the whole task as the questions will be in English.


• You must be a native speaker of Iranian Persian and residing in Turkey
