When you live your life in siege mode you will always be Duality trying different things in order to make life work but for some reason your efforts do not make a difference because there are forces operating against you and hindering your progress. I am really not interested in the argument about whether or not a Christian can be attacked by the demonic, but I believe that once you've dedicated your life to God you have declared war on the territory of the enemy, therefore you cannot afford to abdicate your authority as a soldier in the army of the Lord living under siege. From time to time you need to go beyond enemy lines and recover what the enemy would have looted from you in the few battles that he would have won while you were enjoying spiritual slumber. We are involved in a war and the enemy that we fight is desperate because he doesn't have much time. Our mandate as believers is to win as many as possible, his mission is to get a consolation because he has already lost.
I would like to share eight critical battlefields or territories that you should maintain control of because the enemy wants them as well. Your Spirit - In terms of your spirit, you are safe if you have given your life to Christ and have been born again, that means Jesus is the captain and the Devil cannot touch your spirit. Because he is cunning, he continues to bring spiritual attacks and you need to continue to overcome him because he wants to mess with your salvation and cause you to doubt the assurance thereof and the seal of sonship that God placed on you. Your mind - the engine room that influences and directs the operations of the body and has an input into the spirit through what it allows you to expose yourself to. That is why the Bible in Romans twelve beseeches us to renew our minds. A renewed mind cannot be the devils workshop but an old mind that thinks thoughts of the past will take you back to the former things from which you were redeemed. The Devil doesn't know your future but he knows your present and your past. You must rid the past of its power by removing its influence I n your current thought process. If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, the old is gone and the new is come, therefore walk in that newness of life.
