A study at Laval University shew that you can burn calories nine times faster by applying a 'burst' method to your exercise. Let's say you choose a walk as your preferred exercise. Walk at your regular rhythm, and at some time during the walk, walk faster for twenty seconds or so, until you have to breath faster. This is an interval training many fat loss experts recommend. Researchers say that few types of foods will heighten your metabolism, but they only do so for a short time. Those reputed to elevate metabolism are grapefruit, cayenne pepper, chives, and curry. The last two are known to keep a low cholesterol.
