Diablo 4 doesn't stray from the hack-and-slash style that the series is famous for, however, the movement feels more fluid and exciting thanks to the evade feature. Introduced in Diablo IV Gold, the evade button feels more integrated in Diablo 4's sequel. Certain enemies can telegraph their attacks to the player, allowing the player to move away. The developers state that as players gain experience, different ways to escape and avoid, for example, being able to complete multiple dodges simultaneously, may be deactivated. The skills range that is available in Diablo 4 has also evolved. As someone who played all Diablo games, that was not easy to get used to. The available options give players freedom to customize for specific playstyles, but won't make beginners feel confused. As I'm a Barbarian I could decide to focus on dual-wielding weapons to perform faster attacks that can deal more damage, or choose the slashing weapon with two hands in the event of a spinning attack that lets me cut through massive groups of enemies. The tree appeared to be an endless array of attacks but there was a logic to the entire thing, just as it was in previous Diablo games. As one would expect from a Diablo game there are lots of dungeons to be cleared throughout Diablo 4. but the game's open world feature is a nice addition to the proceedings. I was awestruck when I found myself on a mountain and was able to "climb down" and then go to another section of the map. While there isn't an extensive vast open world, like Elden Ring or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild however it was interesting to have a broader land to explore. The previous Diablo games had randomly generated maps that were vast, but very limited. Although Fractured Peak was still restricted in its scope, it wasn't like I was tied to any map. There are horses available for purchase but only after you've completed the quest, which cheap Diablo 4 Gold is more accessible later.
