There was a time within the gaming industry when anything that Blizzard launched stopped the flow of D2R Items traffic. Weeks would be booked off of work and the business as a whole would freeze as people awed at what the Blizzard team had come up with.

However, that's not so common these days, and much of that prime Blizzard team is no more working for a good reason, Diablo is a franchise that has significance. In its entire story as a series this is the fourth mainline game. Diablo 4 can be a game that will make the industry stop and pay attention to Blizzard again, but this time with the right motives.

Although some may be dismayed by the idea of Diablo 4 followers, they may either love their or dislike them, the helpful companions have become an integral part of the action RPG game's combat. I inquired with Blizzard what it plans to do to include aides into Diablo 4, and while they didn't elaborate yet, it appears that followers will join in the future at some point.Speaking to lead class developer Adam Z. Jackson in the aftermath of the Diablo 4 gameplay preview, I asked if the follower system will be similar to Diablo 2 or Diablo 3 - if there was one or none at all.

If you're not aware, in buy diablo 2 resurrected items you would hire followers to descend on those gates with you, however when they were killed , you had to get them back using cold cash. The new followers appeared in each zone, which meant some were absolutely better than others.
