Phone Booth and In Bruges actor WoTLK Gold Farrell has been offered an important role in the upcoming World of Warcraft movie, according to a new report from Hollywood website Deadline.
Sources informed the site that Farrell's role in the film isn't a sure thing since the agreement to bring him on is reportedly "50/50."
The report also mentions Paula Patton (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Deja Vu) as a possibility for the lead role.
It's not clear what roles Farrell and Patton would play. The plot of the film is largely unveiled, however the Deadline report indicates that the film will include "time space travel, alien planets and time."
The director Duncan Jones (Moon) is also said to be testing other actors for the World of Warcraft movie's major parts, but the actors were not mentioned.
The film's production will begin in January. Blood Diamond and K-PAX writer Charles Leavitt authored the most current version of the World of Warcraft film's script.
WoW Pre-Expansion Patch now Available Prior To Battle For Azeroth
The next expansion for World of Warcraft is on the World of Warcraft . Battle for Azeroth is set to launch in August, however, before the launch, Blizzard will roll out the biggest pre-expansion patch of the week to set the scene for the coming update and adds exciting new functions to the well-known MMO. The pre-patch is set to launch on Tuesday, 17 July. Alongside that, it includes War Mode, a new system that allows players to choose to opt-in or out of PvP battles. War Mode can be enabled from the age of 20 by going to either Orgrimmar or Stormwind, depending upon your allegiance; toggling it on will let you fight against other players in every zone that include Northshire Abbey. But, Blizzard says that Sanctuary zones will not be able to participate in PvP, regardless of whether War Mode is enabled.
In addition to War Mode, the pre-expansion patch changes the PvP talents system. Previously, players would get talents once they took part in PvP and increased honor levels. With the new update, players will earn talent as they increase their level making everyone more on an equal footing. Players will also cheap WoTLK Classic Gold now have the option of selecting talent from a range of optionsinstead of rows.
