In a discussion on forums earlier today WoTLK Gold Blizzard has announced it's currently "significantly diminuting the rate that the health of your creature increases with your item level." In reality, this change is already within World of Warcraft .
"All we're trying to achieve here is prevent cases when monsters die far too fast that players are unable to react to their presence, specifically around World Quests," Blizzard explained. "Our initial setting was more aggressive than it needed to be, which could make it feel like your improvements weren't really aiding. This change will make it evident that you're still gaining strength against your adversaries as your gear gets better."
Another significant change that is available in the game is that Blizzard is cutting back the amount of damage that enemies can deal. "Our overall goal with this change is keeping the amount of time it takes for a monster to be killed from becoming excessively short, while also increasing the damage they deal is unnecessary for that goal," Blizzard said. "Instead it was making you feel like they were getting more dangerous. This was not the intention."
Blizzard added that some of the above-mentioned changes were already in World of Warcraft through the 7.2 Public Test Realm patch The patch was released to January. The developer did not inform players of the changes immediately because the studio wanted "raw real and authentic feedback."
"When that feedback was not received, we assumed that meant it was a normal change--i.e. the people who had not noticed weren't affected by it, and people who were aware considered it to be fine," Blizzard said. "Clearly this was a false assumption, and we ought to have called attention to cheap WoTLK Classic Gold this issue in the PTR cycle, so that we could detect these issues prior to the patch 7.2 went live."
