  Video Games - Consoles

World of Warcraft lost 800.000 subscribers WoTLK Gold during the April-June quarter the game's publisher Activision Blizzard announced today as part of its most recent earnings report. In June 30. World of Warcraft had 6.8 million users, which is down from the 7.6 million gamers as of March 31.

Activision claims that the decline of subscribers occurred mostly within the East. The company described the drop as "seasonal" and pointed out that the drop in subscribers was comparable to what we saw from the beginning of this year's second quarter, before the launch of World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria.

The next World of Warcraft expansion is Warlords of Draenor, which will be available this fall on PC. The release date of the expansion will be announced during an event of a different kind next week within Los Angeles. While the expansion isn't released yet, it's already shipped 1.5 million units as purchase pre-orders Activision Blizzard said today.

Even though World of Warcraft 's subscriber number is declining, the revenue generated by the game is increasing, Blizzard tainment CEO Mike Morhaime stated. Morhaime didn't give a specific revenue figure, or Actvision Blizzard does cheap WoTLK Gold share this information publicly.
