WoW Classic servers are an empty town

  Video Games - Consoles

Blizzard has quietly launched a new public test realm for World of Warcraft Classic WoTLK Gold with minimal fanfare, which has led players to speculate about what the realm is meant to be testing. Many players are hoping it's "fresh" services for WoW Classic.

The test area currently includes content from WoW Classic's first phase but it will also include recent updates to the game like the option to buy a world buff saving item from Chromie which was not available in the first versions of WoW but was introduced prior to the release of Burning Crusade Classic. The arrival of the new test realm has players speculating this could be a sign that Blizzard is planning to launch new servers in WoW Classic in which players are able to start their adventure into Azeroth completely in the beginning.

World of Warcraft Classic: Burning Crusade Reveal

In the moment, WoW Classic servers are an empty town. Blizzard made players choose between playing in the current "Classic Era" servers or moving forward to the first expansion in the game, Burning Crusade Classic, back in June, and it appears that the majority players chose to continue to buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold Outland over staying in Azeroth. However, there's an active community with players that would prefer WoW Classic to Burning Crusade.
