The Vee Snowball is our latest fast-rolling, comfortable, and extreme condition-capable fat-bike tire. Obviously, Snowball is aimed at fat-bike riders who won’t let snow and ice spoil their ride, so we’ve ensured that it is fully compatible with studs for increased mechanical traction. Snow and ice aren’t Snowballs' only party tricks though, using a tread pattern based on our popular Crown Gem mountain bike model, this fat tire is a flyer in loose dirt, on hardpacked surfaces, across the grass and anywhere else your fat bike can go. All told, Snowball floats over fresh snow, smooths out steps, and soaks gnarly roots. For the Silica Compound, we borrowed technology from our car and motorcycle industry to bring you a rubber that maintains superior performance in colder to below-freezing conditions. This soft material maintains a low rolling resistance and cornering grip in all temperatures with a low hardness rating of 57. This is the Studded Fat Tires version, 72 TPI, Silica Compound, Size 27.5x4.0. Available in Black.
