Former Madden NFL 23 players diagnosed with CTE

In a three-month UCLA study has revealed an increase in Madden NFL 23 Hall of Famers Tony Dorsett and Joe DeLamielleure, as well as All-Pro Leonard Marshall have been diagnosed with chronic trauma-related encephalopathy. CTE is an incurable brain disease due to a buildup of abnormal proteins that damage the center of the brain, which regulates emotional and memory functions and secondary processes. It is believed that frequent head traumas can trigger the condition.

Phillips hired as interim head coach

The Houston Texans have named Wade Phillips as their interim head coach while Gary Kubiak recovers from his temporary ischemic attack.
