There was plenty of speculation regarding Skriniar's future club during the summer, in particular, Paris Saint Germain looking the most likely to draw the Slovakian to the French League FIFA 23 coins. But the plan never materialized, and now Skriniar is trying to be relegated to the top position for the club.
"Wins to Watch" means that if the player's team wins three matches out of their next eight domestic matches (starting Sept. 30) Then they receive an additional one-time boost in stats that is equivalent to another form. Thus, if Man City win 3/8 games, Haaland gets another +1 over and beyond the in-form updates he receives. (Lol 'if'.)
Nations to Watch means that every player with a Ones to Watch card whose country is involved within this year's World Cup will receive a one-off in-form upgrade if their team wins a game during the tournament. It's been a tough time for Erling on this issue, it appears due to Norway's inability to participate. ('Tough times for Erling' is not something we expect to write on many other occasions this year/decade/millennium.)
Plus, Nations to Watch players don't need to be picked by their country's team to be upgraded, meaning that should Gabriel Jesus somehow doesn't make the Brazilian squad and his countrymen score one win in Qatar in the meantime, the Arsenal hitman will still get the +1.
Additionally, it's worth noting that Ones to Watch players do not get upgrades on the basis of other promo cards. Therefore, if Tyler Adams gets some sort of wild 90+ card in April , in an upcoming promotion called Factsmashers or something like that the case may be, his OTW won't be upgraded to reflect the new promo. (Sorry Tyler. If this helps you feel better buy FUT 23 coins, you're practically everyone's pre-order OTW packs.)
