Navagraha stotram is a composed by Sage Vyasa to praise the Navagrahas or the celestial planets as per the Hindu theology. The main part of this divine hymn contains 9 stanza’s each one dedicated to the induvial grahas namely the Surya, Chandra, Kuja, Budha, Brihaspati, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, and Kethu. The lyrics of the stotram are composed in a simple way yet with a great meaning. The stanzas explain the appearance of the Navagrahas, lineage, and their divine attributes.
The benefits of chanting this Navagraha stotram were clearly stated by Vyasa in the Phalastuti part, where it says one can get rid of troubles caused by planets and stars at the same time they can be benefited with good wealth and fortune.
