The Different Diablo 4

There will be four tiers once Diablo 4 is released. There will be four tiers: Standard Diablo 4 Gold, Hardcore, Standard Expansion, and Hardcore Expansion Ladders.

If you pick either the Standard and Hardcore Ladders, you'll be playing only the four original acts in the game. This means that the ranking only takes into account the moment you begin the game until you take down Diablo in Act IV.

For Standard Expansion and Harcore Expansion Ladders players will have to run through five acts that take into consideration that of the Lord of Destruction expansion.

Be aware that if you choose one of the Hardcore Ladders that your character's death is permanent. In the event of this happening, you'll have to start over in order to join the Ladder once more before it changes.

People are expressing their displeasure over the Reset

While the developers have announced the frequent Ladder resumes still do not know what exactly happens during each Ladder season, as of the moment of writing.

Fans over at Reddit speculated that the rankings could change at least every 3 months. If this is the case, it might not give players enough time to learn what the Ladder has to offer.
