Vinod Khanna was a legendary Indian film actor, producer and politician who worked in Hindi films for over four decades. He was born on October 6, 1946, in Peshawar, British India (now in Pakistan) to Kishanchand Khanna and Kamla Khanna. He had three sisters and one brother. His father was a textiles businessman, and his mother was a housewife. Vinod Khanna's family later moved to Mumbai, India, where he grew up.
