Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar was a visionary leader, social reformer, and jurist who played a pivotal role in the Indian independence movement and the drafting of the Indian constitution. Born in 1891 in a Dalit family in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Ambedkar faced discrimination and social exclusion from a young age due to his caste.
